Hi there,

How can I start debugging with currently running node.js app?
I tried several ways without success.
I started

node.exe --debug=<port_number> <javascript_file>

and then use `Attach to Process` in Visual Studio 2013, select `Node.js Debugging` as the code type to attach to my running `node.exe` process. No breakpoints hit...

Any suggestion?

I can confirm that 0.10.36 resolves the debugging issues found in 0.10.25 (it could not break on exceptions. now it does)

debug is working for vs2013 + windows 8.1 x64.
Setting was required as shown below.
Node.exe arguments: --debug=5858 c:\sample\ExpressApp1\ExpressApp1\app.js

I did not work NTVS Debugger.
But, it was working when you change the character code.

Try UTF-8N or Others.

I can't seem to get debugging working? I created a simple Express App from the template. Set a breakpoint in app.js. Press F5. It just builds the project and nothing happens. However, if I do a Ctrl+F5 (Start without debugging) - a Node command window pops up, a browser window opens and the Express app appears to be running fine.

I'm running VS2013 + Node x64 v0.10.23 on Windows 8.1 x64.

Any ideas?
