publish error

Error occurs when trying to publish to the file system. I get:

web.config not found in project, to create a project to deploy to Windows Azure you must create a Windows Azure Node.js project.

I did try to publish to azure but since deleted the site and the publishing profile. I was attempting to publish to the file system.

This is actually the current design - we have two different sets of project types, one for Windows Azure and one that's free of the extra Windows Azure artifacts that are required for deployment. We have a feature that's open to add a command to convert a project to Azure:

But if you have a significant amount of code (and it occurs to me that the new project from existing code doesn't have an option to generate these files, so that may be how you got into this state) that you've already written you can do this by hand. You'll need to first create one of the Windows Azure projects and then copy the bin\ folder, web.config and into your existing project.

From there you should be able to publish.
