Documentation correction needed @ Local Attach - it says "node.exe --debug:5860 server.js", but : as a separator does not work on node v0.10.33. The one that worked for me is "node.exe --debug=5860 server.js"

If you're getting this error when trying to attach to an Azure web site, then this is by design. It's exactly as the error message says - Azure remote debugging is only supported when VS is running on Win8+, and is not available on Win7. It's an error, not a warning, so there's no way to "skip" it.

If you're getting it while doing something else, can you describe the repro in more detail?

Hi! Great article. However, I'm running Windows 7 on my dev environment, and I'm receiving this:

"Remote debugging of node.js Windows Azure applications is only supported on Windows 8 and above."

Is there any way to skip this warning? Thanks!
